Our Evidence

BiomeMega’s work started with the discovery of probiotic species that produce Omega 7 and Omega 9. They have furthered this finding through the use of genetic constructs to engineer probiotics, and upscale the supply of Omega 3 with post-biotics through precision fermentation.

BiomeMega’s non-GMO probiotic trials showed exciting and encouraging results aligned with the likely in vivo production of Omegas, (e.g. increased muscle growth without abdominal fat, gut modulation towards beneficial species, extended lifespan, lack of organ toxicity, etc) which they intend to continue to explore into the future.

  • It strengthens cell membranes in times of environmental stress and pressure, but Omega 3 supply needs genetic “tweaking” to:

    1) be sustainably supplied to industry,

    2) be delivery continuously to the body from a probiotic source, and

    3) to become a medicine able to treat chronic diseases.

  • These include Omega 7s and 9s, and both have a tremendous unexplored medical potential as industry’s current focus is on Omega 3 (Omega 7 present price = AUD 1,500 per Kg).

    Two probiotic species in our library produce O7 and O9, and our marine bacteria need to be investigated.
